Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DealSonar, including dealsonar.io, app.dealsonar.io, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

DealSonar ("we", "us", "our") provides monitoring and alert tools for public marketplace listings. Contact: hello@dealsonar.io (general) or ops@dealsonar.io (privacy / account).

2. The Service

DealSonar lets you create monitors (saved searches) and receive alerts when matching listings appear on supported marketplaces (for example Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, eBay, and OfferUp). Features may include dashboard alerts, email, Discord or Telegram notifications (by plan), eBay sold comps, and profit estimates.

Marketplace listings, prices, and availability change constantly. We do not control third-party marketplaces, sellers, or listing accuracy. The Service is a tool to help you find opportunities; it does not guarantee deals, profits, or that a listing will still be available when you act.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information. We may suspend or close accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.

4. Trials, plans, and billing

• Paid plans and any free trial are described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. A card may be required to start a trial.
• Trials are generally limited to one per customer. We may refuse or end a trial if we detect misuse (for example repeated cancel-and-retry trials).
• Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel in billing settings or by contacting us; access continues until the end of the paid or trial period unless cancelled immediately.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of access and pausing of monitors.
• Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes, harassment, fraud, or to violate marketplace or platform terms of those third parties
• Attempt to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service or our providers beyond normal use of the product
• Share accounts in a way that circumvents plan limits, or resell access without our permission
• Misrepresent DealSonar as affiliated with Facebook, Meta, Vinted, eBay, OfferUp, or other marketplaces we monitor

You are responsible for complying with the terms of any marketplace you use when messaging sellers or buying items.

6. Optional Chrome extension

If you install the DealSonar Chrome extension, messages to sellers are sent only when you initiate them, using your own Facebook session in the browser. We do not store your Facebook password. Use of the extension is subject to these Terms and Facebook's own rules.

7. Intellectual property

DealSonar, including its software, branding, and design, is owned by us or our licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your own business or personal reselling while your subscription is active. You retain rights to content you submit (for example monitor queries and notes); you grant us a licence to process that content to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete listing coverage, or accurate comps or profit estimates.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DealSonar and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost deals, or data loss, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or misuse the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and IP) will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
